How long does well pump repair take?
Most repairs take two to four hours. Pulling a deep submersible pump can take most of a day depending on well depth.
Can you come out the same day?
In most cases yes, and we run emergency callouts seven days a week, 7am to 9pm for homes with no water at all.
Can most faults actually be repaired?
Yes. The majority of no-water callouts turn out to be a pressure switch, capacitor, control box, wiring fault or a waterlogged pressure tank — all of which are repairs. We always test before recommending anything bigger.
Why does my pump keep tripping the breaker?
Usually a failing capacitor, a shorted motor winding, or damaged underground cable between the control box and the pump. It's an electrical fault, so leave the breaker off until it's been tested.
Do you repair pumps you didn't install?
Yes. We service submersible and jet pump systems of any age and brand, including installs done by other companies.
How long should a well pump last?
A well maintained submersible pump typically lasts eight to fifteen years. Short cycling caused by a failing pressure tank is the fastest way to shorten that.
